The Storyteller
“Once upon a time,” he starts without fail,
at the crowd’s behest he would try,
to elicit a tear or a smile, a tale to tell,
a negligible, miserable lie.
Subconsciously, lest we know,
he fears a subtle critique, a yawning breath.

מעט אודותיי
I was born in Israel and live in Modi'in. I write in Hebrew and English about fatherhood, memory and the fragile beauty of ordinary life.
My poems began as private notes. Verse·Shop lets them travel further than my notebook ever could.
Thank you for carrying my words into the world. — Eran
