Midnight Brainstorm
A brainstorm in the dead of night,
The thunder of aircraft
Destined silence to its end.
I do not sleep.
A lightning of lamps
Chars darkness with fire.
I do not sleep.
A storm of thoughts
Shatters tranquility to shards.
I do not sleep.
The dawn of weariness,
Light enters through the cracks.
I do not sleep,
Nor am I awake.
The setting of eyelids at sunrise
Shall amplify silence, darkness, and tranquility to perfection,
And I shall dream with them.
