Billing, Plans & Ink Terms

How paid plans, Ink credits and payouts work: what recurs, when it is charged, how to cancel, and what is refundable.

Version 2026-07-30.1 · in effect from 2026-07-30

1. Scope

These terms apply to creator plans, Ink purchases, and creator payouts. They form part of the Terms of Service and the Creator Agreement. Buying physical products is covered by the Terms of Service, the Returns & Replacements Policy and the Shipping & Delivery Policy instead.

2. Automatic renewal — read this before you subscribe

A plan is a subscription. It renews by itself and charges your card every month until you cancel. You will not be asked again each month.

Before you start a plan we show you, on the subscribe page: the plan name, what it includes, the recurring price, the billing frequency, and that it continues until cancelled. Starting the plan is your affirmative consent to that recurring charge.

We charge the first period immediately. Each following period is charged automatically on or around the same day of the month, to the payment method you gave, until you cancel. Your payment method is stored securely by our payment provider under a token; we do not hold your card number.

We send a receipt for every charge to the email on your account.

If a renewal fails, we mark the plan past due and may retry over the following days. Access to plan benefits may be suspended while it is past due. If it cannot be collected, we may cancel the plan.

3. Cancelling a plan

Cancel at any time from your Studio, or by emailing info [at] myverseshop [dot] com from the address on your account. Cancellation is effective for the next renewal — we never require a phone call, a retention conversation, or notice period.

You keep plan benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate or refund a part-used month, except where mandatory law requires it or where we cancel for our own reasons.

Any monthly allowance included in a plan is use-it-or-lose-it. It does not roll over, is not convertible to Ink or cash, and is forfeited on cancellation, expiry or suspension.

If we change the price of a plan, we will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice before it applies to you, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect. Where the law requires renewed consent to a price change, we will ask for it.

4. Ink

Ink is a prepaid unit that lets you use the AI design tools. It is a limited licence to consume a service. It is not money, not a stored-value instrument, not a security, and not a deposit. It has no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, cannot be transferred, sold or given to another account, and is not your property.

Earned Ink is granted by us at our discretion in connection with your sales. It expires as stated in your Studio (currently 90 days from grant). Purchased Ink does not expire while your account is open. Where you hold both, earned Ink is consumed first.

The Ink cost per action, and the contents and price of Ink packs, are shown in your Studio and may change. Changes apply to future purchases and future actions, not retroactively to Ink already spent.

Ink is deducted when a usable result is produced. Where a generation fails to produce a usable image, we do not charge for it. We do not refund Ink because you dislike a result, because a result cannot be published under the Content Policy, or because a design was later removed. AI output is inherently variable and you accept that.

Unused Ink is forfeited when your account is closed or terminated, and is not refundable on cancellation. This does not affect a statutory right you have that cannot be excluded.

5. Cooling-off for digital purchases

Where you are a consumer with a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content or services — for example under EU or UK consumer law — that right normally lasts 14 days.

When you buy Ink or start a plan, we begin supplying immediately so that you can use it straight away. You expressly request that immediate start and you acknowledge that, once supply has begun, you lose the right of withdrawal in respect of digital content fully supplied, and that for a service you will pay for the proportion supplied up to the point you withdraw. You confirm this by ticking the box on the purchase page, and we record it.

Where you withdraw within the period and have not consumed any Ink, we refund in full. Where you have consumed some, we refund the unconsumed portion at the price you paid, unless the law requires more.

This section does not apply to, and does not limit, any non-waivable right under the law where you live.

6. Prices, currency and tax

Plan and Ink prices are shown before purchase and are charged in the currency stated on the purchase page. Your bank may add conversion or cross-border fees.

Prices are stated exclusive of any VAT, GST or sales tax unless the purchase page says otherwise. Where we are required to collect such tax, it is added and shown before you confirm.

You are responsible for any tax on your own earnings. See section 8 and the Creator Agreement.

7. Failed payments, chargebacks and abuse

You must keep a valid payment method on file while a plan is active. You authorise us to charge it for amounts due, including renewals and any amount you owe us under the Creator Agreement.

Raising a chargeback instead of contacting us is a breach of these terms. We may suspend the account, reverse granted Ink or benefits, and recover the disputed amount and any fee from your balance or from you directly. Contact info [at] myverseshop [dot] com first — we would rather fix it.

We may suspend or cancel a plan, void Ink, and close an account where we detect fraud, payment abuse, sharing of a single account, or attempts to obtain Ink or plan benefits by manipulation.

8. Payouts to creators

We charge a platform commission of 8% on each sale. Earnings are recorded when an order is paid and held for 14 days after shipment to cover returns, replacements, chargebacks and fraud.

After the hold, earnings become available and are paid once your available balance reaches USD 20. Payment is made to the payout details you provided; you are responsible for their accuracy and for any fee charged by your own bank or payment provider.

We may withhold, reverse or set off earnings against refunds, chargebacks, replacement costs, amounts owed under the Creator Agreement's indemnity, and any amount subject to an open infringement or fraud investigation.

We may require identity or tax verification before releasing a payout, and may withhold where required by law.

Balances on accounts that are closed, dormant, or unreachable are dealt with as the applicable law requires. We are not a bank, do not hold client money, and pay no interest on any balance.

9. Changes and termination

We may change these terms, plan contents, Ink pricing, commission, hold periods and thresholds on reasonable notice. Material changes affecting a live plan take effect at your next renewal, and you may cancel before then.

We may suspend or terminate plans and Ink access under the Terms of Service, the Creator Agreement or the Content Policy. Where we terminate without cause, we refund the unused part of a plan period.
